Veterans Day Weekend Encampment

Please join us for this amazing event featuring the 2nd Continental Light Dragoons, the first calvary under General George Washington.  They will perform demonstrations on horses, sword fights and black powder musket firing.  In addition re-enactors will be present to talk with you about the Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and the War on Terror.  You will also be able to meet the only woman to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor, learn how to cook over a fire, see old and new military vehicles and equipment.  

There will also be food vendors, music, vendors selling military and historic themed items, kids activities, awards and a Veterans Day ceremony.  Adult donation of $10, Veterans are FREE.
