At the Eastern Connecticut Veterans Community Center we work with veterans to host and establish beneficial events and services catered to our veterans. We work to make all veterans aware of their benefits such as healthcare and financial aid.
How Can We Help
Eastern CT Veterans Coffee House
Every Wednesday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM The Veterans Community Center hosts a Coffee House where veterans can meet and mingle. This occurs at the new America Museum in Willimantic.
Martial Arts Program
One of our veterans has offered his time and expertise to the community to teach martial arts from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the America Museum.
Veteran Compensation
Veterans have access to multiple platforms to help them with all aspects of life. Here at the Eastern CT Veteran Community Center we will work with you to make sure you are receiving all of the benefits you are entitled too.
VA Healthcare Assistance
Come meet with Alex, our region's VA representative. Alex comes to all of our coffee house meetings and works hard to take care of our veterans and help with any VA issues they might encounter.
"Vetrepreneurs"
We provide a lot of information for veterans to start and run their own business successfully. We have information on and relationships with various companies that work to support veterans.
Career Development
We will work with you to receive the most amount of help as possible from organizations such as the VA and other organizations that work with veterans to find suitable careers.

Around the Center
At the Eastern Connecticut Veterans Community Center, we offer an array of services that we host here at the center. All of these services are open to the public.
Dining Services
At the Center we have a large dining room, full with a kitchen capable of hosting events.
Community Room
We have a large community room where veterans and the public can relax. We also have a small library and lounge.
Historical Museums
We are the home of the America Museum as well as hosting an Art gallery.
Meeting Rooms
Our building also holds a conference room as well as a few private meeting rooms.
Computer Room
We have a collection of services including computers and printers that are open to the public.
Gift Shop
We also host a small gift shop where veterans can sell goods. all proceeds benefit veterans in our community.
